Philosophy

"Our work together begins with listening. Typically I envision a space instantly and see past whatever is pre-existing, design is the art of seeing what is invisible to others. When asked about my personal style ... I say it always incorporates a sense of whimsy and history. I use antique pieces in all my projects, by incorporating something historic it adds credibility and graciousness to a room and brings history’s silent voice alive again.

It is integral to my core to create beauty and serenity through natural elegance. Whether the project is modest or noble, an unforced, easy, comfortable and timeless interior will result. I co-create with my clients to tailor the project to their specific budgets and time lines. The projects are about my clients and their individual lifestyle needs, not mine."

"I collaborate closely with you to define your needs and bring your vision to life. You can be involved as little or as much as you would like. We create beautiful environments together by blending my years of expertise with the abilities of the very finest craftsmen and vendors. I will introduce you to ideas that you've never even imagined to be possible and together we will discover new design concepts."
